We are a friendly gardening club based in Uplyme (East Devon) and Lyme Regis (West Dorset). Everyone is welcome to join, and non-members can attend most events for a small extra fee.
Society Membership
Membership of the Uplyme & Lyme Regis Horticultural Society costs just £5.00 for individuals, or £8.00 for households. This entitles you to free entry to most of our events, no temporary membership fee for trips, and also to some discounts (see below).
To join, you can contact the membership secretary (Mrs Jane Godfrey) at any of our events or through a committee member. You can also email the webmaster and she will pass on your enquiry.
Benefits
As a member of the Society, all our talks are free, and you get an advance printed copy of the events list, and a free copy of the Schedule for the Summer Show in January/February/March (only on sale to public from June, cost £1), which is an essential planning aid if you want to enter any classes.
Peat and horse compost are available on collection from Mr A Booth, Mayfield, Lyme Road, Yawl at 10p per bag off current prices.

Royal Horticultural Society: Our affiliation to the RHS allows us two tickets for the Chelsea Show at reduced prices. Please contact the Secretary, who also holds the RHS Show handbook for reference by members.
