Every July, we hold a Summer Show at the Uplyme Village Hall and Playing Field. For 2012 it’s the 83rd Show, and will be held on Saturday, 14th July between 2.00 to 5.00 pm. Entrance £1.50, and car parking is free.

In the marquee and hall, exhibitors will be competing for cups and certificates, for fruit, flowers and vegetables, floral exhibits, home produce, photography, and handicrafts.
On the field, you’ll find a wide range of horticultural, craft and charity stalls, games and competitions, musical entertainment and dancing displays – and of course, the raffle.
In the hall, the society will also be serving cream teas, coffee and refreshments.

| 10.30 am | Judging will commence. |
| 2 pm | Show opens |
| 2.30 pm | Family Dog Games (fun classes for family pets) |
| 3.15 pm | Children’s Races on the field |
| 4.45 pm | Presentation of Awards and Raffle Draw |
| 5 pm (approx.) | Exhibits may be removed |

Members get a schedule in January/February/March, but they are not on sale to the general public till June. The schedule contains detailed notes on awards, recipés, judges etc., as well as a full list of the classes that you can enter. It also includes the official entry form.
