TOUR OF ROSE FIELDS
Members and guests enjoyed a visit to St. Bridget’s Rose Fields in Exeter on Tuesday, July 23rd, where they learnt about the production of roses and were able to see the various stages in situ. The sunny weather enabled the fragrance of the fields of flowering roses to be fully appreciated. They were also able to see plants being raised from cuttings in the extensive glasshouses and polytunnels at St. Bridget’s, where all plants sold are home-grown.
